By public transportation
Tram 25 direction Grünwald, walk towards the main entrance of Bavaria Film. After about 200 meters, a sign on the left reading "Bavaria Filmstadt: Entrance, Parking, Ticket Office" shows the way; turn there and follow the green fence for another 700 meters until you reach the film studio ticket offices. The footpath is paved, barrier-free and takes about ten minutes in total.

By Bicycle
You can reach the film studio very conveniently by bicycle, mainly on bicycle paths along the Isar River or through the Perlacher Forest. Bicycle stands are available in the Filmstadt car park.
Don't have your own bicycle? Then use the bike-sharing system myradl.de with numerous locations in and around Munich. During your visit to Filmstadt, you can park the bicycles in the designated area near the ticket office. If you prefer to use the tram after your Filmstadt visit, there is another bike-sharing station directly at the Bavaria Filmplatz tram stop.

Enter "Geiselgasteig" (ZIP code 82031) as the city and "Bavariafilmstraße", intersection "Lil-Dagover-Ring" in your route planner. Shortly before reaching your destination, you will find the entrance to our parking lot. You pay 5 euros for the duration of your stay.
Route for busses
For vehicles with a total height of 3.60 m or more, approach from Munich Center via Grünwalder/Geiselgasteigstraße is not possible due to an underpass.
Alternative route: Middle Ring South from Munich-Giesing onto (A995) direction Salzburg, exit at Oberhaching, then country road via Grünwald towards Munich.
From outside: Munich ring motorway (A99), at Munich-South motorway junction (Brunnthal) onto E54 (A995) direction Munich-Giesing, exit at Oberhaching.
